In light of AFCM keenness to apply higher quality standards in all educational and training aspects, Armed Forces College of Medicine has got institutional accreditation from the National Authority For Quality Assurance of Education And Accreditation on 30/8/2023, To graduate medical officers and researchers committed to sustainable development and ethical professionalism to provide excellent preventive precautionary services and to conduct medical research to support health care system in cooperation and strategic partnership with counterpart institutions locally, regionally and internationally .

Getting institutional accreditation reflects AFCM effort to achieve excellence and leadership in medical education and scientific research, enhancing its position as a leading educational institution in the field of medicine and health. Prior to this, the college got program accreditation for its Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education on December 22, 2021, and it also received recognition from the General Medical Council (GMC) in the United Kingdom.
